All-Day-Play & Boarding / Sleepover Requirements

• Temperament test required — every dog must pass before their first daycare or boarding stay.
• Up to date on vaccines, flea prevention, and free of fleas at drop-off.
• Spayed or neutered — we're unable to accept unaltered dogs.
• No serious medical conditions requiring insulin, or heart/seizure conditions.
• No open wounds or signs of aggression.
• Standard collar with name tag — no harnesses or retractable leashes at drop-off.

Temperament Evaluation, In Detail

Our temperament evaluation is designed to assess how your dog interacts and behaves in a group play environment. The goal is to ensure a safe, positive experience for all dogs in our care.

During the evaluation, your dog will first be introduced to a couple of carefully selected dogs. Our team observes body language, social skills, and how well they respond to corrections from other dogs. If the initial introduction goes well, your dog is gradually introduced to a larger play group, with staff closely monitoring the whole time.

Dogs displaying aggressive behavior, repeated snapping, excessive mounting, or other behaviors that may compromise the safety of the group will not be accepted into group play. Occasional mounting is normal and typically redirected — but continued mounting after redirection may lead to removal from the play group.

Please note: while most dogs pass their initial evaluation, behavior can change over time due to age, maturity, health, or environment — so continued participation in group play is always based on ongoing behavior.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Guidelines

• Late drop-offs: if arriving after 3:00 PM, please feed your pup dinner before drop-off.
• Collars: standard clip or buckle collars only — no breakaway or quick-release collars.
• Name Tag: Your pup's collar needs to include their name so we can easily tell look-alike pups apart. (If your pup happens to be bright yellow or purple, we'll probably recognize them! 😄)
• Leashes & harnesses: no harnesses or retractable (re-coil) leashes.

Mealtime (Boarding / Sleepover Guests)

Meals are served twice daily at 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Food Preparation

• Portion each meal into individual zip-top bags, clearly labeled per dog (bags don't need to be labeled if all bags are the same)
• No hard-sided or plastic containers
• Refrigerated or special diets must also be portioned into labeled zip-top bags
• Farmer's Dog, Fresh Pet, Etc... meals may remain in original packaging and will be served per your instructions

Medication Policy

• All medications must be in their original prescription container, as required by law
• Medications are administered exactly as labeled

What to Bring

Please bring items in a reasonably sized, collapsible bag. We do not have storage space for hard-sided containers during peak periods.

We Cannot Accept Your Pup If They:

• Do not have up-to-date vaccinations, aren't on flea prevention, or currently have fleas
• Are unaltered (not spayed/neutered)
• Require insulin or have serious medical conditions (including heart conditions or seizure disorders)
• Show signs of aggression
• Have open wounds
